If you use a mobile phone for business, you’ll know how much you need to use your phone, or should have quite a good idea at least. It comes as a surprise that more and more business users are simply taking out mobile phone contracts, purely because of the look and style of the handset. For me, this is absolutely crazy. I personally know several business users who simply want the latest mobile phone model - regardless if it has a much less talk time capacity or battery line than its cheaper counterpart. Not only that, many business users are being lured into mobile phone deals that offer great handsets but have extremely expensive call costs. I don’t understand the logic when knowing full well you need to make a lot of calls. It’d be cheaper to buy the handset for cash and in turn take out the mobile contract with better inclusive minutes and call costs.

The same goes for mobile broadband. Many users are simply taking the cheapest package with a lowly inclusive broadband figure, even though they know that they’re clearly going to go over the inclusive bandwidth. I guess my message is, if you know you’re going to use your phone or web access a lot - buy a package to suit, not just because of the hardware!
